Reference Quartus Project made with Q15.0.0 16x500MHz_21.zip, 15x500MHz_5.pin

Reference Quartus Project made with Q15.0.0 16x500MHz_35.zip This revision has the old 4-Channel 500MHz ADC firmware (#5167) instantiated next to the 16x500MHz_21 project (which is now accessed on imaginary VME slot 31)

Need to install: ./vme7700 and ./coll2m.pl

Reference VME data read (slot 7, address 0):

./vme7700 read 7 0

Read 2000 ADC data words (slot 7)

./coll2m.pl 7 2000 outout_file_name

Access SPI registers

Here are some examples with ADC generatted patterns after SPI configuration
You can make ADCs send stuff other than ramp by writing to register 6  
./vme7700 write 7 18 055000 - readout example X_00, X_00.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs for normal operation  
./vme7700 write 7 18 055001 - readout example X_01, X_01.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs to send mid scale short  
./vme7700 write 7 18 055002 - readout example X_02, X_02.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs to send positive full scale  
./vme7700 write 7 18 055003 - readout example X_03, X_03.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs to send negative full scale  
./vme7700 write 7 18 055004 - readout example X_04, X_04.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs to send alternating checker board  
./vme7700 write 7 18 055007 - readout example X_07, X_07.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs to send one/zero word toggle  
./vme7700 write 7 18 05500F - readout example X_0F, X_0F.xls - prepares SPI command for ADCs to send ramp (each count repeats 4 times, random ramp readout)  
You can also make them send a custom pattern... see data sheet, page 60
